A handful of routes are operated by Delta’s regional brand, Delta Connection, although some mainline aircraft are scheduled on some flights. With the exception of Las Vegas, all of the increased frequencies among the routes above originate from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), which are hubs for the airline.
Atlanta and Los Angeles frequencies
Many of the added flights come from ATL, where 11 routes are seeing an increase from last year. More than 4,000 flights will collectively operate between the hub and Greenville/Spartanburg, Huntsville, Knoxville, Little Rock, Panama City, Colombia, Birmingham, Tallahassee, Greensboro, Memphis, and Raleigh/Durham. The increase significantly boosts Delta’s capacity across the Southeast and East. As all connect to the airline’s home and the world’s busiest airport, passengers will have a plethora of destinations to travel further to.
