UK: Hospitality group KE Lodges has acquired The Queen Resort Cheltenham from Sutton Resort Assortment, marking its fifth owned property within the UK. 

The 84-bedroom resort is housed in a Grade II-listed constructing within the centre of Cheltenham. Constructed within the 1800s, it sits on a 1.13-acre web site overlooking Imperial Sq..

Savills acted on behalf of Sutton Resort Assortment within the deal. “The sale of this property mirrors the uptick in single asset transactions we’re seeing available in the market, with single asset transactions totalling £1.35 billion in H1 2025, marking an 8.4 per cent year-on-year enhance and 1.7 per cent above the 10-year H1 common of £1.33 billion. Along with the Queen Resort Cheltenham, KE Lodges owns the Resort Indigo Newcastle, Lindon Lodge Oxford, Moxy Manchester and a group of eight resorts in California.

It additionally manages Hampton by Hilton resorts in Birmingham, Newcastle and Sheffield.
