This immersive exhibition, housed in the ground level of the space, reimagines Maison’s legacy like never seen before! It captures the attention of its visitors with a display that celebrates Louis Vuitton’s innovation, savoir-faire, and spirit of travel. Each thematic room showcase takes visitors on a spell-binding voyage, revealing a series of enticing displays. Enter through a Trunkscape—a hypnotic tunnel of 96 trunk modules, followed by ‘Origins’—a 360-degree setting of archival documents beautifully staged like the inside of a vintage ship.

Bag ’em All!

The next room is dedicated to ‘Iconic Bags’ and it celebrates the story of LV through five iconic bag models viz. the Alma, Keepall, Speedy, Noé and the Petite Malle. Another room in this exhibition features 21 bags and two ready-to-wear looks in 19 clear acrylic bubbles by icons such as Marc Jacobs, Kim Jones, Nicolas Ghesquière, Virgil Abloh and Pharrell Williams. The circular Collaboration room is a space dedicated to Maison’s groundbreaking partnership with renowned artists and has moving displays that turn a backdrop of 180 chrome-dipped bags into a cinematic presentation of the brand’s most iconic pieces. Finally, a surprise greets guests as in the ‘Giveaway Room’ where gifts can be won.

Adjacent to the exhibition is Le Café Louis Vuitton with a lush backdrop having botanical elements and a range of delectable delights accented by the Maison’s emblematic motifs. Here, visitors can devour a delicious range of  cakes, tarts, parfaits, and ice cream sandwiches in a variety of flavours, each decorated with a signature Louis Vuitton flourish. Treats such as mango sticky rice fizz, pistachio monogram cake and chocolate-caramel star blossom cakes are worth a try. Other significant elements of the café include location-exclusive souvenirs and Louis Vuitton’s Vivienne character expressing Thailand’s greeting “Wai”.

Moving upstairs, we step into the Louis Vuitton store offering visitors an immersive and modern shopping experience. The opulent store is adorned with vintage furnishings and bright hued artworks. The store features store-exclusive pieces like the Alma Nano Rainbow bag, a women’s Cruise 2024 T-shirt, and a pair of men’s LV Trainer Upcycling sneakers. The striking venue also offers personalisation through hot stamping with a special “Nong Vivienne” design created especially for the opening.

Seal It With A Meal

For an after-shop meal, LV The Place Bangkok offers the finest dining experience at their restaurant Gaggan at Louis Vuitton’ by celebrated chef Gaggan Anand.  This is the Maison’s first restaurant in South Asia and it features a seasonal menu infusing Thai cuisine with Louis Vuitton’s signature style codes. Experience this culinary adventure in a space that has undulating walls decorated with resin structures, LV Monogram, flower-shaped lamps and accommodates 10 Italian marble tables.

The specially crafted menu by Chef Gaggan is based on the 5 “S” i.e. sweet, sour, salty, spicy and surprise, and is served in 8 as well as a 17-course meal. From Thai-inspired dressed lobster to a mushroom recipe in a Damier pattern, each composition is served on a unique platter. For those looking for the ultimate culinary experience, a private dining area offers a glimpse of the kitchen with the push of a button. Now that’s what we call a true luxe experience!
