Sioux Motel in the USA adopts Hotelogix to digitize hotel operations and boost guest experience

Singapore, 12/December/2023: Hotelogix, a globally leading cloud-based hospitality technology provider, said that Sioux Motel in South Dakota, United States, has adopted its Cloud Hotel Property Management System (Hotel PMS) to automate and streamline daily operations, boost guest experience and drive business growth.

Located in Murdo, Sioux Motel is near Pioneer Auto Museum and South Dakota’s Original 1880 Town. It is one of the popular accommodation providers in the entertainment district. Guests like it for its simplicity, well-maintained rooms, and service. The motel boasts good online ratings.

Earlier, the management at Sioux Motel ran daily operations manually – from managing reservations, checking guests in and out, managing housekeeping and maintenance schedules, and handling billing and payment processing. According to Rosemarie Shoop, Owner of Sioux Motel, said, “Doing everything manually led to delays and inefficiencies, ultimately negatively impacting guest experience and our bottom line.”

“The idea behind adopting Hotelogix Cloud Hotel PMS was to automate operations and to serve guests better. On one screen, it helps us handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, etc. It boosts our operational efficiencies, saves time by 70% – 80% daily, and allows us to attend to guest needs, improving our guest service capabilities,” said Rosemarie.

Additionally, Hotelogix offered Sioux Motel a Mobile Hotel PMS App to help them access hotel data on the go. The Hotel PMS with a channel manager tool to assist the Murdo-based motel with real-time rate and inventory distribution to sell more via OTAs.
