Southwest Airlines announced the extension of its flight
schedule through early 2024 and the addition of new seasonal nonstop service.
The carrier revealed plans to resume several seasonal
routes, starting on January 8, 2024, to help travelers escape the winter blues.
On that day, Southwest will continue daily service between Dallas and Fort
Myers, Florida, and between Dallas and Palm Springs, California.
Travelers can now book seasonal weekend service to Florida,
starting on January 13, 2024, from Albany, Phoenix, Buffalo, Louisville, Providence,
Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Also on January 13, 2024, Southwest will begin offering
weekly service on Saturdays between Hartford and Fort Lauderdale, Grand Rapids
and Fort Myers, Washington, D.C. and Fort Myers, and Minneapolis/St. Paul and
Tampa.
In addition, the carrier announced it would operate service
on Saturdays between Omaha, Nebraska, and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Florida,
beginning on January 13, 2024.
On January 14, 2024, the airline will resume flights from
Dallas and Fort Lauderdale to Louisville on Sundays.
