Wizz Air will restore flights between London Luton and Sarajevo subsequent summer season season. The service, previously year-round, was halted in September and not using a clear indication if it could resume in 2026. The airline now plans to revive flights between the 2 capitals on March 31, working twice per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, till the tip of the 2026 summer season season in late October. Through the 2024/25 winter, the finances service maintained 4 weekly flights on the route. Wizz Air’s London service benefited from subsidies awarded by the Tourism Affiliation of the Canton of Sarajevo, which led to a rise in operations over the previous two years.
Through the January – August interval, Wizz Air dealt with 32.787 passengers on the Luton – Sarajevo service. Its common cabin load issue for the eight-month interval stood at 71.5%. However, Ryanair welcomed 30.517 travellers on its Stansted – Sarajevo route, with a median cabin load issue of 85.9%.
