Air Tahiti Nui continues to develop its worldwide community and pronounces the launch of latest direct service between Papeete and Sydney.
This new service kinds a part of the airline’s technique to sustainably strengthen French Polynesia’s connectivity with main regional hubs throughout the South Pacific, based on Air Tahiti Nui Chief Govt Officer, Lionel Guérin.
The inaugural flight is scheduled for Monday, 14 December 2026, and Air Tahiti Nui will function two flights per week, providing travellers a direct, continuous connection between Tahiti and Australia.
“We’re more than happy to announce this new direct service between Papeete and Sydney,” Guérin stated.
“With two direct flights per week and our codeshare settlement with Qantas, this service presents Australian travellers’ higher consolation and extra frequencies, complementing our twice-weekly service to Auckland, New Zealand.”
