YHA Australia has bought its Alice Springs property as a part of a strategic realignment of its nationwide portfolio.

YHA Alice Springs was bought by the Bhullar household, who will proceed working the property as a backpacker lodging facility.

The sale, negotiated by CBRE Resorts’ Hayley Manvell and Taylor Morris, follows YHA Australia’s profitable divestments throughout Canberra, Airlie Seaside, Coffs Harbour, Glebe and Perth.

“We’re excited to proceed the legacy of this iconic web site whereas introducing operational enhancements that replicate the evolving wants of travellers within the Northern Territory,” a Bhullar household spokesperson stated.

“This acquisition marks our second enterprise in hospitality and displays our long-term imaginative and prescient to contribute to Alice Springs and Central Australia’s tourism progress.

“We stay up for working collaboratively with native companies and the Northern Territory Authorities to strengthen customer experiences whereas persevering with the legacy of this iconic web site.”

Located on a 2,040 sqm freehold web site in central Alice Springs, the property was initially constructed in 1942 because the Pioneer Stroll-In Theatre and later renamed Snow Kenna’s Stroll-In Image Theatre.

It options 108 beds throughout 22 rooms, a communal kitchen, lounge, video games room, swimming pool, BBQ space, out of doors film display screen, and laundry amenities.
