Triton plane will probably be launched at Tindal and flown by Air Pressure pilots from a floor station at RAAF Base Edinburgh in South Australia.
The remotely piloted plane system permits the Triton to function at increased altitudes and stay airborne for longer durations than a conventional piloted plane, offering persistent surveillance throughout Australia’s maritime approaches.
