Spain: Membership Metrópolis, the boutique resort and personal members’ membership, has opened within the centre of Madrid.
Positioned on the intersection of Gran Vía and Calle de Alcalá, Membership Metrópolis has been conceived by Spanish restaurateurs Marta Seco and Sandro Silva of Grupo Paraguas.
In 2019, Seco and Silva had been invited by the constructing’s proprietor to open a standalone restaurant on the bottom flooring. The duo noticed potential to revive your complete seven-story web site, with years of renovation work then led by Rubio Arquitectura and interiors by Lázaro Rosa-Violán.
Spanning greater than 6,000 sq. metres, Membership Metrópolis now affords a 19-room resort, personal members’ membership, seven eating rooms, and wellness services.
Lodge lodging is split into 16 rooms and three suites. Positioned on the third and fourth flooring, the drum-shaped Round Suites present company with 360-degree views of Madrid.
Company are usually not required to be membership members to remain on the resort, although are granted full entry to the membership’s eating places, cultural programming and facilities throughout their keep.
Three of the F&B venues are open to the general public: lobster restaurant Spa de Langostas, Spanish restaurant Tasca Fina, and seafood restaurant Barra de Oricios. The remaining 4 are reserved for members and resort company: the fine-dining Victoria room, all-day La Galería, open-fire kitchen El Jardín, and cocktail venue La Cúpula.
